Tree Removal

When a tree is dead, diseased, storm-damaged, or simply in the wrong place, taking it down safely is the whole job. I remove trees across Brighton and the Front Range with careful rigging and sectional dismantling — the right method for tight spots near homes, fences, driveways, and power lines.

When Removal Is the Right Call

  • Dead or dying trees that could fail in the next windstorm
  • Storm-damaged trees — split trunks, hanging limbs, uprooted root plates
  • Diseased trees that can’t be saved, including ash lost to emerald ash borer
  • Trees damaging foundations, sewer lines, roofs, or fences
  • Unwanted trees crowding structures or blocking plans for your property

How the Job Goes

  1. Free on-site estimate. I come out, walk your property, assess the tree and the access, and give you a written flat-rate price.
  2. A plan for your property. Drop zones, rigging points, and protection for your lawn, landscaping, and fences.
  3. Safe removal. Sectional dismantling or directional felling — whichever your tree and your lot call for.
  4. Full cleanup. Every branch hauled away. Stump grinding available so the job is truly finished.

Front Range Cottonwoods

Cottonwoods are Colorado’s big, fast-growing shade trees — and they’re brittle. A mature cottonwood with a lean or deadwood is exactly the tree that fails in a spring windstorm. I know how they come apart and how their roots behave, so removals go smoothly and stumps don’t turn into a thicket of suckers.

Ash Trees & Emerald Ash Borer

Emerald ash borer has been killing ash trees across the Front Range. If your ash is thinning at the top, sprouting from the trunk, or showing bark damage, have it looked at soon. Some ash trees can still be saved — but once decline is advanced, removal is the safe move. I’ll give you an honest assessment either way.

What It Costs

Every tree is different — size, location, access, and condition all matter. That’s why I do free on-site written estimates instead of phone guesses. The price I put on paper is the price you pay.
